Coupling a passion for public service with a knack for finance, Suzanne is a mission-driven numbers pro specializing in 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and has devoted her career to building stronger non-profits through better financial management and operational excellence.
Before beginning her independent consultancy business, Suzanne served as the Interim VP of Finance & Business Affairs at American Documentary in NYC, as well as VP of Finance & Operations for Kartemquin Films in Chicago — both nonprofit media arts organizations supporting indie documentary filmmakers and films that spark public discourse.
Suzanne now focuses primarily in supporting documentary filmmakers and independent film studios with comprehensive production accounting, business affairs, and financial reporting and analysis services for films funded by the Independent Television Service (ITVS), Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), or the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
Suzanne holds multiple degrees from the likes of Northwestern University and the University of Notre Dame so you can be confident her real-world experience is bolstered by the best in current technical knowledge.
